Requirements

The M.P.H. Forced Migration Track in the Department of Population and Family Health can be completed in three semesters; however, students are encouraged to spread out their course-work over four semesters.

Program requirements include:

Completing 45 credits of academic study;

       --The Public Health Core (5 courses, 15 credits in total)

       --Required Substantive Courses (9 credits total)

       --Research and Skills Courses (2 courses, 6 credits total, more suggested)

       --Electives (15 credits)
Participation in an international summer field practicum (8-12 weeks in length) after completing 2 semesters of coursework;

Presenting and participating in the Practicum Seminar;
Finishing a Capstone Paper, usually based upon the practicum;

Completion of a series of online modules.
